A tough game, played in very good spirit. The West Wyalong girlss made the most of their time out wide and run in some fantastic tries after line breaks and backline play. The Women in Gold never gave up, and were rewarded through a try to Sienna Reid in the second half. A great debut for Kayla Hone, who looked well and truly comfortable in contact for the first time. Congratulations to West Wyalong and good luck in the finals.

The Men in Gold were put to the test by a very strong West Wyalong forward pack. Their scrum put the boys to the test, and the first 15 minutes was a huge arm wrestle. The Goldies put on 4 nice tries to see out the first half, including a few beautiful backline moves.
The second half was more open, with plenty of line breaks, and some attacking play through the backs. Jamie Golden, James Green and Adam Hick had huge games, and Luke Dean made the most of his opportunities on field, getting involved in plenty of play, and putting his body on the line. An unfortunate injury to Dylan Piper-Bye on the last play put a dampener on the celebrations, and we hope he is back to full strength soon.
