Isabella Piper – NSW Country Under 19’s Representaive.
Boorowa Rugby League has yet another superstar on the rise with former Boorowa Bush Rangers Junior, Isabella Piper playing an important role for NSW Country under 19’s in their victory over City Under 19’s last Sunday. Bella played as a prop forward against the talented City side and held her own as NSW Country held on for a courageous 18-14 win that went down to the dying seconds at WIN Stadium.
It’s been a big few weeks for Isabella, who was recently selected as one of four Development players for the Canberra Raiders Women’s National Rugby League Team in 2026. She is now on the cusp of playing in the National Rugby league Women’s Competition later this year.

Bella spent some time with the Raiders NRLW squad in 2025 coming in as a development player late last year due to injuries in the squad. The Raiders coaching staff have liked what they have seen from the versatile forward who can play in several different positions.
Piper has also spent the past two seasons playing with the Raiders Tarsha Gale Cup team and with the Belconnen United Sharks in the Katrinna Fanning Shield.
Aside from preparing for a big season with the Raiders, Isabella is currently studying at university and like many 19-year-olds has a lot on her plate. We look forward to following her progress this season.
With former local Thomas Jenkins currently blazing a trail in the NRL, it’s only a matter of time before the next home-grown Boorowa junior rises to the big time. Boorowa and in particular all those involved with Boorowa rugby league should be proud of the talent the junior teams are producing.
