The Boorowa Goldies went out to West Wyalong on Saturday and fought a tough game that the Goldies braved, resulting in a 24 – 21 win.
The men in Gold were tested by a large and tough squad from out west. In what was a very different result from the second round last year, West Wyalong piled the pressure on throughout the match and made Boorowa turn the ball over too many times for their liking. A very scrappy win, but a bonus point on the ladder will help the sore bodies.

The Goldilocks weren’t as lucky on the weekend against West Wyalong, going down 52 – 15.
The Goldilocks had 5 seriously tough girls head over to West Wyalong. They all put their best foot forward against last year’s Grand Finalists. The Club gave a big thank you to West Wyalong for assisting in making sure the game went ahead. Some great long-range tries and moments of brilliance in attack kept the scoreboard ticking over – and the girls will be looking forward to the second half of the year with a few more home games.
Plenty to build on, just need a few more bodies at training and on game day.
