Opening Night Friday 3 October, 6 pm – Old Courthouse, Boorowa. The much-loved Boorowa Art Show & Sale returns this October long weekend with a new twist: for the first time in its decades-long history, artworks will be available for purchase both in person and online.
Running Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October (10 am–4 pm each day) as part of the Boorowa Irish Woolfest, the show will feature over 50 artists from across Australia presenting works in every style, size, and medium—from bold contemporary canvases to delicate landscapes and sculpture. Works from local artists such as Tori Corcoran, Stella Evans, Steph Corkhill, Heather Ruhl, Ann Cooper, Therese Crowe, Kate van Leeuwen, Paris Maxfield, Ang Hart, Angela Regan, Bimbi Turner and Margret Atkinson.
Opening Night on Friday 3 October from 6-8pm promises live music from local duo Tori & Jason, nibbles and cool beverages, and the coveted first chance to purchase.
Tickets are $15 and available now via the new website or at the door.
Online buyers can browse and purchase works at artshowboorowa.com.au with a 25 percent of commission on all sales supporting Boorowa Central School and St Joseph’s Primary School.

Lifting of Alcohol-Free Zones for 2025 Boorowa Irish Woolfest Celebrations
Council would like to advise that the current Alcohol-Free Zones in place in the Boorowa CBD will be temporarily lifted on Sunday 5 October 2025 for Boorowa Irish Woolfest celebrations. The temporary suspension of the Alcohol-Free Zones will be in place between 9am and 6pm. Glass will not be permitted on the street at this time; drinks must be in plastic cups or takeaway cans.
The area of suspension includes: • Marsden Street between Pudman and Queen Streets • Queen Street between Scott and Market Streets • Market Street between Pudman and Queen Streets • Pudman Street between Scott and Market Streets
As at 6pm on Sunday 5 October 2025, the usual requirements for the Alcohol-Free Zone will be reinstated.
